I applied online, they sent me a link for a HireVue AI video interview (answering pre-recorded questions to a webcam). I've had interviews with HireVue before, it's a bit uncomfortable but they're casual. Usually it asks 2-3 questions and gives multiple redos for each one. TJX has EIGHT questions, with only one redo allowed per question. The expectations were not set at all - there was no mention of how many questions there would actually be or what the process look like. For 8 questions why not just have me come in-person for an interview? If your hiring team can't figure out if a candidate is worthy after 2-3 questions and a resume then they should be let go. These video interviews are also proven not to get the most qualified candidates, they favour candidates most comfortable performing in front of a camera. Anyways then TJX closed the job and never sent me a follow-up email.
