Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso TPP (Leeds, England) nel mese di nov 2017
Colloquio
CV, phone call, invited up to Leeds. Short maths test (30 mins, GCSE level) and then interview with 2 employees (20 mins). Response within 2 weeks (but watch out, "company policy" says they give no feedback)

Questions alternated between very simple and pointless arbitrary. See below.
I would advise international candidates who require visa sponsorship to carefully consider whether to attend an interview with TPP.
From my experience, as well as that of several other international students I know, the interview process felt inconsistent compared to that of UK-based candidates. I was invited to an in-person interview, but it lasted only around 15 minutes. The questions were very brief, focusing mainly on a short introduction and 2 brain teasers, with little to no discussion of my software engineering experience or technical skills.
In contrast, a UK-based friend of mine had a significantly longer interview (around two hours), where they were able to speak with multiple members of the company and discuss their experience in much more depth.
Based on these experiences, it felt as though international candidates were not given the same opportunity to fully demonstrate their abilities or learn about the company. While TPP does state that they offer visa sponsorship, the interview experience did not reflect an equal level of consideration.

Colloquio
Fairly quick (15mins). Standard questions on motivations for applying and a quick check of knowledge of the company. Additionally a maths/ logic puzzle and a ‘fermi’ problem requiring you to estimate a quantity.

Estimate how many streetlights there are in the UK

I waited for almost an hour for the 5-10 min interview. The interviewer did not seem to care about my answers at all, looked like they were just interviewing candidates to achieve their target number. Also, they said they pay for your transport, which was true, but they ignored the booking fee (around £2) for the train tickets and paid me less than what I spent. This is quite a red flag.
