The recruitment process consisted of two stages, the first being an interview with HR and the second one where they made an offer. The entire process was carried out with a lack of professionalism and transparency by the CEO and COO, who conducted the interview.
They offered a salary below average, although they offered residence in Leiria as a benefit. The problem is that they tried to include the value of the residence in the gross salary to make it appear higher.
Accidentally, the CEO shared the screen, during the intervew, and exhibited an Excel file where I could see that different candidates were being given different gross values for the exact same "total package" of salary + housing. Furthermore, they sent the proposal to several candidates without even telling me, during the interview in which they made the offer.
When I confronted them with the situation, they referred me to a very ambiguous sentence, which was up to intrepertantion, sent in one of the emails indicating that it was written there. I cancelled another recruitment processes with another company thinking that the offer they made was indeed an offer.
