I went in on a Customer Success interview day. They had a dozen applicants spread out every 30 minutes and kept to a super strict schedule, I was impressed by that alone. I spent 30 minute with a recruiter, followed by a customer success manager, then a manager and then a director. 4 different people, 30 minutes each asking a page or two of questions. I was emailed 2 days later (fri) that they wanted to schedule a demo. This was then scheduled for that Mon. I went into the office a did a presentation as if I was already a Tableau employee for a company that is interested in using Tableau. They understand you aren't an expert and just want to see how you handle questions and learning their software. They called my references and sent them email questionnaires (my contacts told me when they each got one). On thurs I got a call with official offer, I accepted the next day!
