I applied online and received a call from a recruiter about two weeks later. She asked me: "What is your leadership experience?", "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?", and "Why do you want to work for Target?". Then I took an assessment test that focused on: personality, problem solving, and situational instances. Then I had a 1:1 interview with a Store Leader followed by another 1:1 interview with another Store Leader. Here are some of the behavioral questions they asked me:

-"You had a conflict with another employee/classmate"
-"You made a mistake at work or in a group project"
-"You had a conflict with a manager/supervisor"
-"You had to be creative at work or in a group setting"
-"You felt like you weren't succeeding at your job"

Got the interview from a career fair. Met with one person who handled hiring and had a great conversation and had one other phone interview. Asked me relevant questions and I was excited about the role

It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.

The interview was straightforward and to the point. Situation based interview, what would you do in this certain scenario. Interviewer was very friendly, and welcoming. They want to make sure that you have what it takes to be a leader
