After I submitted my application the next day I was contacted by one of the Targets I applied to. I scheduled a phone interview with a senior team lead for the coming Tuesday. It was only about 15 minutes long. They asked questions like what was a difficult situation I encountered and they want a very detailed account of what happened, who was involved, the solution and that aftermath. Also, when you went above and beyond for a customer. My interview went really well and they said they would call back within the week to schedule an in person interview. They called back that same day but I missed it, I called back a few hours later and left a message. They didn't call back for another week and a half. During that time another Target in my area contacted me and scheduled a phone interview for 8 am. Pretty consistent with the first phone interview except she had me walk her through my entire resume and explain everything. Then they scheduled my in person for that same week, when I got there they had me take a test on the compute, questions about graphs, time, pace of work, etc. After that I was shown into the office and sat there until they were ready for me. I interviewed with an executive team lead, she went over my resume, why I want to work there, why specifically merchandise flow, if hours were okay. She promptly offered me the job after the interview was concluded. The HR associate then came in and went over my hourly pay, orientation, uniform, and drug test which had to be done with 24 hours of me leaving the interview. I accepted the job at this Target and forgot about the first Target that contacted me. The first Target finally called me back but I told them I had already accepted the job at another Target in the area. I was happy that I got the job at the Target I did because it was much newer, not connected to a mall, has a Starbucks inside, and less robbery in that area. Everything worked out nicely.
