I was referred to Target by regional manager in the Minneapolis area. The interview process started with a phone interview, which consisted of 5 scripted behavioral questions. A few days after the interview I received a call from a recuiter to inform me I had made it to the next round of the process.
Before my next interview I completed the on-line skills test, which took about 90 minutes. I then had a one-on-one interview with a store manager., which consisted of 5 more of the behavioral questions. A couple days later I was again contacted by the recruiter and informed I had made it to the next step in the process.
This interview was with the district store team lead and hr rep. Again, the same 5 questions were asked. A couple hours after the interview I was contacted by the recruiter to inform me that, you guessed it, I had made it to the next round of interviews. I was also informed that she had received a lot of great feedback and everyone had enjoyed meeting with me so far.
This interview was with the regional store team lead and regional hr manager. This interview also consisted of 5 behavioral questions. 2 days after this interview I received an email stating they didn't have a fit for me at any of their stores.

It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.

The interview was straightforward and to the point. Situation based interview, what would you do in this certain scenario. Interviewer was very friendly, and welcoming. They want to make sure that you have what it takes to be a leader
