The initial interview was with recruitment over the phone as they profiled me for the role. This interview was focused on my background so the recruiter asked the basic questions about my work experiences and achievements. I was then endorsed for a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager. This second interview was more to assess my skills fit for the role. I was now asked questions that allowed me to provide details of my accomplishments specifically as they relate to the role I was applying for. The hiring manager set my expectations that there can potentially be up to 5-6 interviews in the hiring process as TaskUs likes to have a comprehensive assessment of my fit not just for the role but with the culture. Fortunately, I only had one other final interview with the VP for Operations which focused on my culture fit. The questions were more personal, and dug into my motivations.
