Colloquio
Had a short video interview with the recruiter in LA, then went to the Tokyo office and met with the coordinator there and a guy from the LA office. In both interviews it felt like these people were interviewing me for the sake of interviewing me - neither person at the Tokyo interview was actually someone from their HR/hiring department. They didn't take notes from any of my answers to their questions, which were quite generic.

Colloquio
Hands down the BEST interview process I've ever been through. Though lengthy, and in some instances repetitive, it felt like I got to know each person individually throughout the process and felt comfortable asking questions, which may not always be the case throughout interview.
My first round I spoke with a recruiter for about 10-15 minutes, second round I met with the team lead for 30-45 minutes discussed the intricacies of the role, expectations and why they liked working at Tastemade. She was super transparent about the company and what the next steps of the interview would look like. I was nervous and she answered all my questions. Third round was an assessment round which I was worried about at first but the initial part was hands on with the director of the program and then solo the second half so you're not left in a "sink or swim" situation. Again, very welcoming and helpful with answers and transparency. Fourth was a combined 30 minute interview with the other team lead and the director getting to know more about them, the role and expectations. Lastly, I met with the head of people for about 15 minutes.
All in all there were some parts that overlapped but I don't think it was a lack of communication; more so a genuine interest in me as a candidate and what I could bring to the table or fit with each individual on the team.
Again truly the BEST interview experience I've ever had and I felt the most confident accepting this offer compared to past roles.

There's a hands on assessment of media knowledge.
Then the general interview questions - tell me about yourself, your skillset, what do you think you can pull from your past experience, etc.
