After being contacted by the regional recruiter, I decided to apply and got a phone interview. The phone interviewer asked a variety of questions, ranging from what my hardest class was, if I had ever missed a deadline, how I organize myself, and challenging group situations I have been in. They focused strongly on my leadership role. The final interview consisted of many of the same questions, but included a five minute class lesson I had to prepare, as well as a group and 1 on 1 role play.

The interview was very different from most interviews but I was definitely well-prepared with the resources that TFA had offered in preparation. My interviewer was very nice and it often felt like a conversation between us about whatever question was asked which was nice.
