Sollicitatieprocedure bestaat uit 3 stappen : HR recruiter voor bespreking arbeidsvoorwaarden, hiring manager voor aftoetsing skills en ervaring, VP Sales EMEA voor final validation. Kort sollicitatietraject dat ongeveer in een tijdspanne van 2 weken doorlopen en beëindigd zou kunnen worden.
Heb enkel het gesprek met de hiring manager doorlopen. Gesprek was zeer zakelijk en to-the-point. Het was questie van zo snel mogelijk een lijstje van gevraagde capaciteiten af te vinken. Vanaf het moment dat het duidelijk werd dat mijn salesprofiel niet voldeed, werd het gesprek zo snel mogelijk beëindigd.
2 dagen nadien was er ook nog een gesprek met de HR recruiter ingepland. Omdat het gesprek met de hiring manager negatief was, is deze dame gewoon niet meer komen opdagen. Geen verwittiging op voorhand, geen excuses achteraf.
Vanaf het moment dat ze je niet voldoende interessant vinden, laten ze je vallen als een baksteen en investeren ze geen seconde tijd meer aan jou.
Dat je niet weerhouden wordt is part of life maar ze zijn niet professioneel in hun aanpak.

3 interviews, first one was an easy HR screening with an intern, then an interview with a team leader and a final panel interview with the sales team. It was pretty standard and I think there was actually one more round after that.

HR Interview and Manager Interview
At first it felt like the HR interview was done just to tick a box.
But then I had a good feedback.
Also, with the manager, the interview went well, and it seemed to go positively.
But after waiting 2 weeks, I received an automated answer they went with another candidate

Clear process with well explained next steps. The only problem is the super slow turnaround time. It took longer to proceed on the next stage of the process and by the time they offered me the job, I had already accepted an offer from another employer.
