I got the interview call through a third-party recruiter. Initially, the interview was scheduled twice but got postponed both times, and finally it happened on the third attempt. I was only able to attend one round, and honestly, the experience was not good.
The interviewer joined around 10 minutes late while I was already waiting. When he joined, there was background noise, including his child crying, which felt unprofessional. During the interview, he mentioned he was a developer, but it didn’t seem like he had much knowledge of Android. I later checked his LinkedIn profile, which also raised some doubts.
The overall behavior was not very professional. Within the first 5 minutes of starting the interview, he received a call, put me on mute, and started talking on that call. After some time, he returned and continued the interview by asking a few very basic questions.
Additionally, he made some unnecessary and unprofessional remarks, such as commenting on my personal appearance (ear piercing), saying things like “why do you have it, it’s not good,” which was completely irrelevant to the interview.
Overall, the experience was quite disappointing and did not feel like a structured or serious interview process.
