      I recently had an interview experience that left me feeling as though I had wasted my time. Initially, I was told by HR that it would be a casual conversation to get to know each other, but it turned out to be an interview, which I didn't mind. However, the interviewer came across as someone who believed he knew everything, as if their company exclusively followed the best practices in the market. He presented one or two scenarios to me, but when I asked for clarification, they didn't provide much insight, leaving me to make assumptions. It seemed as though these scenarios were based on his own current project work experiences, yet they failed to explain them clearly. Moreover, there were numerous distractions throughout the interview, such as phone calls, which disrupted the flow. In the end, it felt like the interviewer was only interested in hearing his own perspectives . Despite my efforts, I left feeling frustrated by the lack of clarity and professionalism in the interview process. While technologies continue to evolve, it's sad to encounter mindsets that remain stagnant in their belief of superiority. Though the experience was disappointing, it highlighted the need for improvement in their interview process. If anyone is aiming to excel in one-on-one consultant mindset rounds, it would be great to ask probing questions until the interviewer's perspective is fully understood. PS - i think it wasn’t my day.
