I got through 4 rounds and still had no idea what the job was about. The meeting with the hiring manager was a one-sided interrogation with lots of behavioral and technical questions. He didn't leave any time to talk about what the job was about. Then I met with a member of their QA team who knew very little about what the team does. After that I met a member of my team who insisted on another interrogation of technical questions. She did leave 10 minutes at the end for me to ask questions, but what can you learn about a company you've already spent 3 hours with in 10 minutes? The next day I was supposed to meet with another member of the team and I thought this was where I would finally learn what the job is. HR sent me an automated rejection email 30 mins before that meeting was supposed to start. When I asked them if the meeting was still on, HR told me that they already hired somebody for the role.
