A further observation from this experience is that this style of interviewing is quite dated and does not necessarily provide a good indication of how well someone will do their actual duties. These questions are important, and have their place in the process, especially in sales, however - a more structured and methodical process to understand someone's thinking, approach and how they would tackle a problem within the business environment they are interviewing would be a more sensible approach and provide a better indication of whether that person can do the job the business is hiring for. This is not a Teradata specific issue, but rather a systemic issue that affects the industry as a whole.
