Initial interview was carried out by the department manager. I was told what the positon entailed, what the hours would be and what the hourly rate would be. I then received a verifiication of employment by post and was told to report for induction. The induction process was about 90 minutes long and included a tour of the shop and warehouse.

Quick and easy interview. Asked how to deal with customers and complaints including how to deal with certain situations e.g. shoplifting and refunds. Interviewer was very polite and to the point.

Application for the role was online. The interview process itself was a generic one, where I was asked a few competency and fit questions by a couple people from HR. This lasted around 30 minutes in total.
