It was pretty long and stressful. First, a quick phone call with the recruiter. Then, a video call with the hiring manager for about an hour. Then, he asked me prepare a presentation for the team. The presentation and follow up questions by 4-team members were 30 minutes, each. It was very intense. They kept their video cameras off, while they asked you to keep yours on. It was worst interview ever, too intense,

Most of the intense questions were regarding presentation. They were condensing about the questions, and it didn't rubbed off in good way for both sides.

A virtual online interview was setup which required a pre prepared 20 min presentation explaining your background, 2 problems you worked on & why work at Tesla & follow up questions for next 10 min after which there were rounds (4) of interview with individual people. There were few people during my presentation some of which were scheduled for a one on one with me later but after the presentation, nobody asked any questions & I just waited for 10 minutes. Then the person who was scheduled to interview with me last came first & ask a question which I answered. Then he asked me if I had any questions so I asked him the question I had to which he gave an answer. Later he tells me that some urgent thing has come up all the people who were scheduled to interview me are attending to it hence nobody will interview me. I immediately understood that the company is not interested in me but I was annoyed at the fact that I gave time to such a company where there is no professionalism at all. If they didn't like something about my presentation they should have at least clarified it during the questions session or during one on ones. It is a good thing it didn't go further as I would not want to work for such company. 1 month later this I got a far better offer from a good company.

After screening interview, hiring Mangager interview and panel interview where you need to present one of your success stories / projects, there was an ask to write 3x different success points of your carrier and discuss with a director. After that you are ask to complete a Manufacturing Test in only 1h (they will send that via email).
