-Screening interview with recruiter.
-Initial interview with hiring manager.
-Interview with division/org director
-Panel interview with 5 employees from different job roles and experience levels. I was asked to make a technical presentation even with 7 years of industry experience. This may differ between teams.
-Final discussion of benefits and entire package with HR/Hiring Manager

Explain a situation where you had to use first principles to solve a problem.
It's all about knowing the principals of engineering. Make sure you study beams and know all the formulas. They really like to make sure you know all the fundamentals and can ask questions that test your understandings of physics and materials.

How would you go about designing a kettle, break down the design details.
Initially there is a resume screening followed by several technical interviews. Opportunities to present prior work and learnings. Individual interviews by panellists. Finally HR screening rounds happen. Overall enjoyable and interesting process to go through for employment.
