3 phone interviews, one with recruiter and 2 with engineering managers. Process was straightforward and no messing around with roundabout approaches (much appreciated) though they wanted more of a firmware person than a mechatronics engineer in the end.

One with recruiter was typical questions recruiters would ask. Questions from engineering managers are very technical and they dig hard based on what you said you did to validate if you really know what you are talking about.
