Colloquio
The interview process for the Senior Software Consultant role at Test Double was a very holistic process. From the initial interview, it was clear to me that the company is very people-oriented. All of the technical questions had a human component with emphasis on business situations one is likely to encounter as a consultant at Test Double. Applicants can expect a bridge call, a writing sample, a one hour technical discussion interview, a one hour consulting discussion interview, a two hour pairing exercise in one of TD's core technologies (Ruby, JS), an asynchronous take home exercise, and a discussion of the take home exercise. Overall a very collegial experience - the interviewers will talk to you as a peer, you're not expected to know trivia off the top of your head (ask for clarification and you'll get it!) - the only expectations are that you can communicate clearly, get to the root of a problem, apply best practices, and be kind to the humans involved in each situational question.

Domanda 1
I'd advise being familiar with general software testing best practices - it's right there in the company name! Understand team dynamics and be thoughtful about the human sides of workplace friction in software.

Colloquio
Very thoughtful interview process that consisted of 5 different types of interview, to be completed asynchronously. I only completed 3 of the 5 as I withdrew my candidacy to accept another position (decided I wanted an in-house role rather than a consultant role), but interviews were well organized and very intentionally targeted "real world" skills rather than the dreaded Hacker Rank stuff.

Domanda 1
Lots of questions about "why" and exploration of trade-offs instead of the typical "what" questions.
