Got through 3 rounds of interview for BDM - Team Leader and even submitted documents. Just before joining the HR states that I need to have another round with the CEO. I did that have a discussion for 10 minutes and it went well (at least according to me) HR messaged the following week and said the CEO - Girish has rejected me. I am not writing this comment out of contempt for them because they rejected me in the end.
I am writing because I rejected 2 other offers simply because Company ( test yantra) is 5 minutes from my place. I said No to other companies after talking to the HR, who assured me that I am through and I just need to have a general chat with CEO. I was not even told the reason for rejection. The basic courtesy/etiquette is to tell the candidate the reason for rejection because he or she can work on that aspect.
Bad experience and out of job.
P.S - I bumped into an employee (Engineer) when I was the leaving the company after interview and he warned me saying, ‘Don’t join the company because they seldom pay on time and the company is not reputed as they claim’. Retrospectively that was my first warning and I should not have listened to him.
