HR screening interview with a polite and friendly representative. I was given a home assignment with an 8-hour deadline (quite excessive for a job-related assignment, in my opinion). The task itself was pretty large, but I completed everything requested within about an hour. A few days later, I received feedback alleging I had missed a specific requirement—sorting something—even though the API they asked me to use already sorts by default. Either the instructions were unclear, or someone there doesn't value candidates' time.
