The second-half of the interview with the person who would be directly supervising me was fine, I actually enjoyed speaking to them. The first-half of the interview with the HR representative was odd. They first asked me if I was the type of person who liked to go to school. I didn't know how to respond, so they clarified that they didn't understand people who kept going to school to collect degrees. I am a recent master's graduate, which I decided to get right after undergrad. They kept making snide remarks about my "degree collecting", and what skills had I learned despite being in school. It felt like the HR rep had their mind made up on another candidate and was making me uncomfortable on purpose. The final decision was supposed to be at the end of the week I interviewed, but didn't hear back for 2, 2.5 weeks later. The person who interviewed me made it sound like working for TMA would be a good environment, and I would apply again if it weren't for the HR reps.
