Mailed a cover letter, résumé, law school transcript, and writing sample to the justice I applied for and had an over the phone interview because I'm a law student in California. The people in the office were great and it was a good learning experience

I actually didn't get too many difficult questions during the hiring process, they asked me what I was looking for out of the internship, described what it would entail, and offered it to me over the phone
