During the interview led by the co-founder, I encountered some challenges. While their confidence was apparent, it occasionally bordered on arrogance, which made the interaction somewhat difficult. Additionally, I observed a lack of depth in their understanding of project management specifics, resulting in generic responses to questions about the role. Overall, while the experience provided some insights, there were notable areas where improvement could be made in terms of clarity and depth of knowledge.
Went through three rounds of interviews that all went well, I truly enjoyed it, then I was ghosted with no update. Experience prior to that was very good. Would have loved an update about not being selected for the role.

Easy enough interview with hiring manager and other project managers. Everyone whom I met seemed nice enough, but was told repeatedly that many people in the company were difficult to work with (they admitted to me that they were mainly referring to the Creative Director). Everyone I met with essentially said that getting yelled at was a routine function of the job, and that they were terrible at training new hires. When I got the job offer, it turns out that is wasn't a job offer at all...it was an offer for an internship for 3 months, after which I would have a solid job offer. This is because That's Nice did not want to offer health insurance until the end of the 3 month probationary period, and therefore has to refer to that period as an "internship" to get around NY State Labor laws. Very misleading. The pay they were offering was also insultingly low, especially for NYC. This, combined with the prospect of having to endure verbal abuse from a creative director who evidently has very poor people management skills, convinced me to not accept their offer.
