      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso The AA (Basingstoke, Inghilterra) nel mese di lug 2021

      Colloquio

Quick call with HR to run through the job, followed by a Teams interview with the hiring manager and a colleague. Initial hiccup of not being sent the the Teams invite for the interview, then interview itself was really positive. Firstly the hiring manager went through the job and a bit about The AA, then I was asked a few questions to determine my understanding of Service Transition - what steps would I follow when picking up a new project etc, then it was onto five competency based questions. I was offered the role the following day, but the after hearing more about the role in the interview I felt the salary was too low - the HR person said he'd speak to the hiring manager about the possibility of offering more, plus send through the detail on pension/benefits etc. This is where it all went a bit weird...he didn't send anything, then when I chased said he'd been out of the business for a couple of days. He then sent over the letter of intent, which included detail on pension/benefits, but when I then asked about salary he came back to say there was no movement. As he'd been out of the office since our initial discussion where he offered the job, I wasn't convinced he'd actually asked anyone. I put in email my case as to why I felt the role deserved a higher salary and after that despite calling and chasing, I got nothing back. I now see the job is being advertised again! I've never been ghosted by a company who have actually offered me a job - as far as I was concerned we were in the negotiation stage! Having been quite keen on the role and getting on with the hiring manager, I'm now not keen on The AA after the way they have treated me
