After dropping off my resume in-store, I didn't expect to be contacted at all. I was called less than one week later by the manager, who asked me for an interview. I did a second one about two weeks later with the assistant manager, which consisted of pretend-selling a product to her after she told me about it to see how well I'd do. The second one was to see if the assistant manager liked me, too. After the second interview I was asked to apply online, and within the week I was hired.
