The phone interview is easy and short, 15min max. On-site interview is one day long, like most other interviews. People seemed to be nice there, but not different than any other place where I have worked.

The Broad is a very unique and high profile environment. They seek the best of the best, thus the best way to get an interview is to use your network. Do your homework to make certain that you have an understanding of the type of research that takes place at the Broad. Also identify someone ahead of time that you would like to work with, and whose work ultimately fits your research goals. Once you are invited for an interview you will likely be required to give a seminar. Be mindful that the Broad is highly collaborative so it is very likely that your audience will be scientifically diverse. If you are not a team oriented researcher, then the Broad is not for you so please keep that in mind.
