I filled out an application for a new Cheesecake Factory opening in our mall. I received a call about four days later from a hiring manager. She gave me a phone interview and it seemed like she really liked me. I came in a few days later for an interview. I showed up right on time because I got lost trying to find exactly where the interview was taking place, which was in a remote hallway that anyone can easily overlook. The same hiring manager interviewed me and was very eager to meet me. The interview seemed to have gone well. I'm still in high school so some of the questions I found difficult to answer. since they seemed to apply to someone with more experience. I waited to hear a call back, and never received one. I called and left a message, never got a response. And I came in twice in person to really show them how badly I wanted to work there and it made no difference. Not sure what went wrong, but very disappointed I was not hired. I believe my availability played a part. I can only work past a certain time because of being in school.
