I interviewed with Cigna's AEDP in their Denver office. They were a pretty evil crowd. This is different than my first two phone screenings, which were with some very nice actuaries who asked the right questions. In Denver, though, you could tell that none of the interviewers were there to find positive criticisms. One of the ladies took notes on her laptop while staring right into my eyes for most of the interview. Never blinked, never looked at the keyboard. I left with a lot of discomfort because everyone who interviewed me had these sorts of peculiar behaviors, the most prominent examples being like the above - very intense or seldom given eye-contact. Moreover, they all asked the exact same questions. So, the cultural feel of the office did not fit me. I have yet to hear back and it's unlikely that I would accept an offer if given. The snake-y behaviors of the actuaries there fit the nasty stories we all heard come out of them during their attempt to merge with Anthem. In summary, not the most human company!

Colloquio
The first round of interview is mainly behavioral questions. Please make sure you know your resume thoroughly. Also, it is important to practice the STAR method. Keep it conversational is a better choice.
