      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso The Cigna Group (Nashville, TN) nel mese di ott 2021

      Colloquio

First-round- phone interview with the recruiter. It went well. Just usual talk about background and experience. The second round was scheduled a week later with the hiring manager. I joined the call as per the schedule and the interviewer did not show up. I communicated with the recruiter about what happened. Later in the day, they informed me that the interviewer was sick. So second round was rescheduled for the next week. I joined as planned and the interviewer didn't show up AGAIN. I spoke with the recruiter and this time I communicated to her how disappointed I was with the unprofessionalism of the hiring manager and in general disappointed with Cigna. Again later they informed me that he was sick. I was disappointed that he did not value my time and did not even make an effort to communicate about the situation with me or the recruiters. Of course, I would never like to work with someone who doesn't value me, my time, and the efforts I am taking to prep for the interview. The next day the hiring manager called me on my cell phone (without prior notice) and apologized and checked if I was still interested. I thought of giving another chance and agreed to the interview. As scheduled I appeared for the interview. The hiring manager also joined (finally!). However, he decided to NOT to turn on the video in the video call meeting. Not even a minute in the call and I had made my decision!! I have appeared for so many interviews but have never had an unprofessional experience like this before. I agree sometimes the situation is not under our control but communication is important to avoid inconvenience caused to others. I would not have minded if he would have emailed me at least 10 mins before the call. But just not showing up shows negligence and unprofessional work culture.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Questions about my Masters thesis in depth. What are the other models I have worked on? What are different metrics used?
