Honestly one of the worst experiences I had. A recruiter for the Accounting/Finance department emailed me a month after I submitted my application. In the email, he wanted to do a phone screen THE DAY OF or the very next day. Isn't that so strange? Most recruiters always first ask for availability. Although I was on a hiking trip (literally surrounded by mountains), I still replied and said I can do the next morning ( honestly planned to drive back in town for a bit just for the interview). He never replied and ghosted me. I even followed up and provided more dates for us to chat. Still nothing. Honestly, I am not even bothered about not getting an interview, it's more about the recruiter's behavior. It's 2021 and this recruiter is still ghosting candidates. It takes literally 10 seconds to reply to an email. Considerate this recruiter states on his Linkedin he has "7 years of full cycle recruiting experience", you would think he knows not to do that. This guy is only two months on the job at Clorox (Atlanta based) and is already acting like ghosting candidates is ok... Clorox is such a good company and honestly I love their products; hence, I applied. However, the recruiter I encountered really left a bad impression on their recruitment team.
