Owing to the fact that it was for the post-Thanksgiving rush, the interview process was pretty streamlined. I submitted my application online and had to wait about a week to hear back. First, I had a phone screening with one of the store managers. At the end of the conversation, she asked me to come in and watch a round of merchandise processing. I shadowed for about an hour at 6am, after which the sales floor leader asked me about what I observed, as well as some questions about work availability. A few days later, I was offered the job over the phone.

1st interview was with General manager and Operations Manager. Very standard. Behavioral questions that are unique and make you think on a higher level. Second interview was with Area Director and Market Recruiting Manager. Less job related questions, and more personal. Area direction reviews first interview by sharing the things she liked and concerns. And asking clarifying questions to address concerns. Sick as length of drive and inexperience in position.
