Three rounds of interviews. Began by talking to a recruiter with HR over the phone. A few weeks later I interviewed with some people in management, again over the phone. Finally they interviewed me in person with the manager that I'd be working for directly. There was really nothing that surprised me about the process.

Was contacted by someone from Scripps about a week after applying to set up a phone interview. Phone interview went fine and lasted about 20 minutes, just went over basics such as my experience in the field, strengths and weaknesses, etc. Was contacted again about five days later to schedule a Zoom interview with the ND at the station I was applying to. The Zoom interview lasted about 12 minutes, which struck me as bizarre but I felt like all went well. Crickets after that. I finally found out a month later that I didn't get the position based on my app status changing to "no longer being considered" and the job posting disappearing. Never got official word from anyone.
