After conversations with the HR person, there were a series of interviews by phone and skype with various levels of management. Interviews were cordial and the managers seemed excited about their company. There is a teaching demo lesson required. This can be challenging, since usual teaching tools are not available over skype (of course, an in-person interview is better if possible).
