I attended Open Day. There was a numbered list where we were to write our names down as we handed our resume to the recruiter. She gives you just one look and there is no opportunity to introduce yourself to her. And judging from the list, around 200 people were present. After the resumes, we sat in a room where the same recruiter gave a presentation about living in Dubai, as well as background information on Emirates and the cabin crew position. After the presentation, we were told to come back after lunch to see if we made it to the "next" round. The recruiter decided to do the Assessment portion on the same day. It was that one recruiter doing all the work - she took in all the resumes, looked at them, gave the company presentation, and probably (I did not make it to this part) conducted the group assessments all by herself. A bit hard to believe that this is the recruitment process of a big company like Emirates. Your future is determined by that ONE recruiter managing the event of 200+ people all by herself.
