      Colloquio per General Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'agenzia di reclutamento personale. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso The Judge Group (Raleigh, NC) nel mese di apr 2018

      Colloquio

Unprofessional-ism at its finest! I was approached by the Judge Group for a position and when I finally was able to talk to the account manager was appalled at how unprofessional he was. During the initial phone call he was talking to me like we were old college buddies and the cussing was inappropriate. When I got off the phone I was shocked that he was the Sr Vice President. We are both adults but I would think at this level and especially on the initial phone call that it be kept strictly professional. Trying to get information about the position was like pulling teeth, was told I would have to wait until I was selected for a phone interview with the actual company. Understandable. When I finally got the phone interview I was sent multiple emails with sparse information at a time, oh and a link to the book he wrote.... The phone call with the company HR Rep wasn't much better. She was professional but wasn't able to the tell me much about the role again, as she was new. By the time I finally got a face to face interview, I wasn't even sure I would take the position if offered to me, as no one was able to answer my questions. The face to face was not with the people it was supposed to be and I was still not able to get my questions answered as I was told there would be limited time at the end for my questions. After following up with a phone call and email, I was finally given a one line response that the company went with another candidate. I wasn't disappointed to hear they passed, but I do try to take every experience as a opportunity to learn. I sent an email asking if there was any feedback. No response. Within a few hours of getting told they passed, I was sent a different email from the same VP telling me about the position and saying they needed someone??? Sent another email asking for confirmation if it was indeed the same position. No response. Followed up a third time for feedback and guess what.... no response. I understand everyone is busy, but it literally would take 1 minute to respond to a email. Instead by ignoring peoples questions, you come across rude and unprofessional. I've seen where someone from The Judge Group responds to these negative comments with the spiel that they aim for giving great customer service, etc. Until you actually make your employees do it and they actually provide a great experience for employers and potential employees, it is just empty words. Especially from a Senior Vice President level.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

The questions they asked were not relevant. They did not ask about my education or the experience that would apply to the position we were discussing. When I would try to steer the conversation to the applicable experience, I was interrupted and talked over. I would finish answering questions and they would say well that doesn't apply to this position. Really? That's why I was trying to get to the part that does.
