The interview was conducted by an HR representative and a person working in the area. I was asked about my salary expectations by the latter, not the HR representative, in a non-private setting. This lack of privacy made me feel uneasy and created a sense of unprofessionalism. Additionally, the interview environment overall lacked privacy, which is crucial for discussing sensitive subjects such as salary and personal qualifications comfortably. This setting made it difficult to engage in an open and honest conversation. Moreover, while it was evident that the company is aiming for top talent, I had the impression that the position offered only the minimum wage or something like that, for a job with no flexibility at all (5 days a week in the office, 9 AM to 6 PM, old management style). The benefits mentioned—a basic meal allowance and a computer (I thought was normal to be provided but work tools and I was wondering if I could keep the computer when I'll leave the company)—seemed insufficient for attracting and retaining professionals. The worst interview so far.
