They advertise roles as “up to 15K,” but in reality, the number keeps dropping the further you go into the process. In my first interview, I was told it depends on experience (which is fair enough) but instead of negotiating within that range (12K, 11K, etc.), by the second round the offer had dropped to 8K. That’s almost half of what was advertised.
On top of that, the second interview was unprofessional. I was interrupted repeatedly, dismissed while answering, and spoken to in a condescending tone. It felt more like being humiliated than being evaluated.
Candidates deserve transparency and basic respect. If the salary range is 8K, then advertise 8K. If you’re not interested in someone’s background, don’t bring them for two rounds. This kind of process is a waste of time and leaves a very negative impression of the company.
