After applying I was contacted by a recruiter via email to schedule a phone interview. It was pretty straightforward, the only confusion was that she switched between setting times in EST (my timezone in NY) and Pacific Time (where she was in California). She was very friendly and started by going over what we would be talking about. She talked about the company, position, and some of the challenges they're facing, which I thought was honest and refreshing. I wasn't offered the position, but they did follow up, so overall even though I didn't get the job, at least the interview process was fine.

I met with the senior recruiter who wanted to see if I was a good fit for the company based on my luxury sales and management experience. After that I met with the managing director, a regional as well as my potential partner for the region. The questions were geared to if I can move quickly and adapt to a ever changing environment. Be a critical thinker and most importantly, can I motivate a team, strong sellers and underperformers in a virtual remote setting.
