Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso The RealReal (New York, NY) nel mese di gen 2021
Colloquio
It was the typical process. Applied to the job online, and a few days later, I received an email with an invitation for an interview. You click their provided link to schedule a time and their recruiter will contact you, once they've received your availability.
The actual interview itself wasn't too bad. However, it was very generic. Almost too generic. Awfully generic.
As a person with career experience, I found the questions to be almost insulting.
You speak with your initial recruiter and it's about 30 minutes long phone convo. The questions consisted mostly of "Tell me about a time when...." or "how do you.... multi-task?"
Extremely vague questions that seemed suitable for an entry level sales associate position... Not for someone with actual work experience.
During the phone conversation, it often felt like the recruiter wasn't paying attention, as I heard text messages coming through over the phone, throughout the interview. Their responses were very generic and disinterested.
Overall it seemed very unprofessional.
After the phone conversation, I was advised my information and answers would be forwarded. And was led to believe I would receive the 2nd virtual interview within 2-3 days.
2-3 days later, I received an email stating I was no longer a candidate.
The entire experience left a stale taste in my mouth.
Mainly due to a recruiter that was not remotely interested in my responses... simply doing "their job."
Don't waste your time. I read other reviews on here, mentioning a similar negative experience, and still opted to proceed.
Do not. It's not worth your sanity.

Interview process was very positive challenging with the video interview at first but it offered changes to redo answers if needed. Overall length of interview process was quite lengthy but worth the wait.
Rushed process, made me feel like the position was sketchy. They seemed very eager to give me an offer and after reading more into the job I did not feel like it was right for me
3 different interviews that were collected online. All very simple and what you’d expect from an interview. First was phone call then 2 zooms. Everyone was nice and friendly. First call was asked about previous job experience. Second zoom got more into detail of my experience and how it would apply to the job. Third call was to meet with the regional manager who asked similar questions.
