I applied online and the recruiter followed back up with an email with screening questions. I followed back up answering the questions and the recruiter informed me they will not move on due to my compensation ask being too high. I let the recruiter know I am flexible and still open for an interview. After a couple of follow ups, the recruiter was able to schedule me and we began the interviewing process.
