I applied online at my school's career site and I got an on-campus interview. It was an easy chat with the HR, and we basically discussed why Thermo Fisher, and why this program (ITLDP). Afterwards, I got a call to go to the ITLDP superday in Waltham, MA. They flew us out and housed us at the Holiday Inn right behind the Thermo Fisher office. They took us out to dinner where we got to meet a lot of current managers, and we also met some current ITLDP trainees. Overall, they are very nice people, although since the program is relatively new, there are few trainees in ITLDP at the moment.
The next day, we got a schedule of interviewers. They were the same managers that we saw at the dinner last night. They mostly asked us behavorial questions, nothing too technical. They ask you about your resume, previous work/internship experiences. They ask you how you solve problems in a group setting and other related questions. Thermo Fisher prides on ethics (one of their core values) so one of the questions concerned ethics.
