My first interview was an HR screen. The process went well, however, I did not understand the responsibilities of the job as they were presented. I had a specific question about a job task aI was interested in, and decided to wait for an answer during a follow-on interview.
For the second interview, I spoke with the hiring manager. He briefly explained the job responsibilities, which, again, did not answer my question, then went directly into a the next phase. I was asked a series of questions, pertaining to my knowledge of the subject matter required for the job. The manager did not address or discuss any experience listed on my resume. The hiring manager's primary objective seemed to be how I would respond under pressure instead of actually seeing how qualified I was for the job. I immediately knew that I would not want to work for this person based on the way I was treated.
