Had a rough experience interviewing with TikTok. They rescheduled multiple times, showed up late, and then interviewed me for a different role entirely. The interviewer even thought I worked at YC instead of a YC-backed company. Felt disorganized and dismissive—definitely not the level of professionalism I expected.

So tell me more about your experience at Y Combinator — impressive that you were hired there - what were you doing for them?
fairly straight forward process. I applied online for multiple roles at tiktok. got a recruiter screen for a specific team, hiring manager / pm interview, data science interview and then didn't get a follow up
