The interview process began with HR based in Singapore, which gave me an early sense of the company culture. During the conversation, I shared my experience, and the HR representative mentioned that my background might not be the best fit for the role. There were also questions around my motivation for leaving my current position, and they suspect "whats wrong with the company? or what happen with you?"
Based on the interaction, I felt there might be a misalignment in expectations and communication style. Ultimately, I decided not to proceed further, as I value a workplace culture that fosters open, constructive dialogue and makes employees feel supported.
