TikTok does not respect candidates. I underwent interviews for 2-3 roles and they kept changing their mind if they had headcount or not. First told me they had no headcount, then contacted me and said they had headcount, went through the whole interview process, positive feedback, was about to get an offer as we were negotiating the package and benefits. Then last minute I was informed that there was no headcount. The same thing happened for another role I interviewed for.
4-5 rounds: usually HR screen, technical test interview with hiring manager, 2 stakeholder interviews.

The interview process was an online interview with a HR officer about my background and the role. Did not hear back after this. HR contacted via whatsapp to arrange this interview.

Straight forward, but multiple stages with different levels of seniority within the department. The recruitment team keeps you update on the next steps and what is expected in each interview round.
