I applied online and got an email from the recruiter a few days later for a video call which was essentially an informal chat about my past experiences, why I want to work for Timberland, etc. I got an email from the recruiter a few days after the video call saying that they wanted me to go in for an in store interview.
I had the in store interview which I thought went very well, it was rather relaxed and I was asked about my hobbies, then some competency based questions about the role. It lasted about 15-20 minutes and the interviewer told me they'd be in touch afterwards.
A week and a half later I still hadn't heard anything back, so I emailed the recruiter asking for an update and they told me they hadn't heard anything yet but they would update me as soon as they had heard something. I emailed the recruiter about this almost 3 weeks ago, and it is now 4 weeks since my in store interview with no follow up, so I am assuming I did not get the job.
They were very quick to arrange the initial interviews, as I said, this all happened within the span of a week. However it is rather disappointing to get no feedback or follow up after such a long period of time even when I have tried to chase this up myself too.
It was a casual and friendly conversation. They asked few questions about timberland, my past experiences, why I want to work there and my hobbies & availability. Lasted about 15 minutes.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Timberland (Cardiff, Galles) nel mese di mag 2024
Colloquio
The first question he asked was about the one-on-one interview with the Store Manager, trying to gauge how he would approach the role. He then moved on to how he would deal with certain situations in the job.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
How would you deal with different types of customers coming in especially if under pressure from numerous requests for different sizes and products?
