      Colloquio per Software Integration Engineer

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 5 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Title Resource Group nel mese di apr 2023

      Colloquio

Went through 3 interviews for this position within 2 weeks. Interviews were pretty basic and seeing if you had the requirements and were capable with handling their system. However, there were a few red flags during the interview that I wanted to point out and make others aware of. Firstly, the team lead was apparently the only developer that the company had. At the time, they had contract workers working for them, and there contracts were ending soon. The reason for why they had contract workers was because the developers who worked under them initially got too overwhelmed from the work, had enough, and decided to leave the company. So, they had to go to contractors in order to keep up with the demanding projects for their software. I'm not really sure why the IT director would mention that to me since you would think he'd want to keep people interested to work at your company instead of scaring them away. Secondly, the IT director was a bit too pushy and a little too demanding for this position. I get that we are here to work, but telling candidates that this is going to be a big learning curve and saying that you will be worked to death doesn't sound like a great work environment. With what the IT director was telling me, it almost made sense why the other developers left in the first place. I honestly didn't really have a good feeling about this place after that interview and was kind of hesitant to go through the third round of interviews. Thirdly, after my third interview with the company, I haven't heard anything back from them for several weeks. It was kind of strange since they were really pushing to get me through all their interviews, but once I got done with the third one with the team lead, I was just left in the dark for several weeks. I at first gave it some time since they did say they will get back to me about it, but I never received word. I finally decided to reach out to the HR department and they told me within the same day that they already selected someone else for this position. I was fine with not receiving an offer, but if an offer was already given to someone else for quite some time, they should've at least notified the other potential candidates that they didn't get the job offer. It just seems very unprofessional on their part, and it also makes it feel like you wasted your time out of your day to meet up in interviews with them just to get no response back about the position until you ask them about it. Granted, I will say the last interview I had with the team lead was actually a really good one. I was given some great advice on different kinds of tools/software that can be used for advancing in the work place. Besides that interview, that was really the only good thing the company had going for it. From my experience and reading other reviews that actual workers submitted here, it would be best to avoid working here. Seems like a horrible work environment, very unprofessional, and with higher ups are expecting way too much from you.
