It was horrible! The recruiter talked to me, told me I was a great candidate and was excited to share my information with the team! She said it would take 4-6 weeks for the hiring process. I was proactive and put together an end-to-end strategy presentation on an event idea that includes their existing partner, why it’s impactful for the company and what I would do if I was in the role, on top of providing my portfolio. They NEVER got back to me, even after I emailed the recruiter and reached out to multiple people in the company. They did look at my idea multiple times because Canva’s public sharing link shows when people outside of your org views your link. It has been months since I’ve interviewed and been ignored/ ghosted. It would have been nice to get a follow up, feedback or a decline letter but I have received nothing. I don’t doubt that they will use my idea but hire someone else! Candidates BEWARE!!
